Suzie Mike, Catie and Zane King: 22 Years ago I returned from my overseas experience. On my return amongst many of my wishes, was to return to Italy. A place of history,culture,great food and romance. Once I had my children, now 7 and 11 years, my urge to go back to Italy became stronger. My origins are Italian......Yes I grew up on Lattes,biscotti and uovo battito with sugar and marsala!ie ..Zabaglione for breakfast! Unheard I know but not for a wog dago kid born to Italian migrants, living in Australia in the 1960s. Hence, at the youthful age of 40 plus, the era of wisdom and determination, I began making my dream into a reality. Saving for my dream trip became the top of my bucket list. Hail, rain or shine my family and I were going to go to Italy. A few years saving, planning, blood, sweat and tears we are almost ready to take off on our dream trip. Watch this space...
